blue
I've been noticing a lot of it round here lately......must be going through a blue phase. My absolute favourite colour ever, is the colour of the sky on a summers night a couple of notches off totally dark. That deep but stunning , velvety blue. I can't explain it...I'm sure you know the blue I mean.
I am alone amongst my immediate family with my love of blue. We are a green family, my Mum and Grandmother being earthy types, lovers of all those tones. Me too, but I always come back to blue.

I am also a greens and earth tones gal. But at retreat, I made a decision to always wear something blue. I had a vision that love is blue. Love was blue and it was shooting out of my fingertips and hair and encircling my girls and my husband, like a protective bubble.
I guess everyone should go on retreat no? :-)))
Love the photos!

blue really makes me happy--i've always wanted to have really light blue walls for my bedroom. and i know exactly the blue sky you are talking about. there's a lighter version of it (but still crisp blue) that i love during the day when no clouds are in sight and i am on the beach. just makes me exhale and relax. (i love those doilies or whatever they are called in the first photo--did you make those? i have a feeling your house is VERY cool!)
