slowing it down

It's been lovely the last few days. Routine out of the window, the kids and I getting dressed later in the morning, leisurely breakfasts and generally slowing the pace. They need it - I need it. After all the poorliness we feel we're getting back on top a bit. A bit of sunshine tends to do that.

(I have unfortunately managed to catch another cold/throat/head combo but we'll just forget about that for now......anything seems tolerable after the back incident).

More of this over the weekend I think.........

Get well soon - hope the sunshine does the trick.

such lovely photos :-)
i hope you're well soon.

have a wonderful weekend. i hope you are feeling better soon!

gorgeous photos - hope the lurgy misses you out this time

meant to say - I love your jelly moulds - I have similar ones and have been making so much jelly since I got them it is just not funny (or healthy, probably)

you commented on the doodle stitching book - to be honest the front cover is the best and one of the nicest things about it - the basic info on stitches is great for a complete beginner like myself which is why I like it a lot, but the other projects in there are lack lustre. Any guide to basic stitching would offer you as much...I think what I am trying to say is don't be drawn in just by the cover

(am again irritated by the fact that blogger doesn't give me your email so I can't respond directly on this - although possibly if I poked around your profile I might find it)

have a lovely week!

Oh dear Asti.. I can't believe you have been smitten by a cold again!
I do hope it is on it's way out now..
I have just returned from two blissful days on Dartmoor.. oh I love your part of the world sooo much.
Sorry I didn't get in touch but it was a brief escape and we hope to return later in the year for a whole week!!!!!!!!
Enjoy the rest of the hols with your two lovely girls..
Love
Michelexx
