We have just returned from a lovely few days spent relaxing near one of our local beaches. It was rather fun to be in a caravan only 10 miles from home!
We were blessed with beautiful weather, blue skies and a balmy breeze.
Evening on the beach is one of my favourite things, so much more pleasant without the crowds – it’s the best part of the day.
So we are back, refreshed and ready to start back into the routine come Monday. I started today with a top to toe clean of the house (with help, I might add, nodding to Nick. I’ve been spending so much time dyeing and sorting out businessy things that housework has been sorely neglected. Think rummage sale!
I hope you have all been enjoying this gorgeous sun and have had a fun half term :)
Hope you have recovered from 'Knit Nation'. It was fabulous to discover your yarns. The colours are just amazing. I've already bookmarked your 'shop' and now found your blog!!!! Evening is my favourite beach or countryside time too. We are off up to Yorkshire next week to enjoy some 'away from it all' time, before I have to go back to school. Ros

Hoping you're ok and your 'absence' is because you're off enjoying the amazing summer we're having so far :) lol x

We have been known to take our caravan just 2 miles away before now! Sometimes you just need to have a different view. I don't know about you but reading american blogs talking about school hols starting is driving me crazy! it's so unfair that we have another 6 weeks to do!

How lovely... I wish we'd been able to just sit and enjoy the sun, but with moving next weekend and Tim's parents (who we are currently lodging with between tenancies) also moving, we have spent the hot days sorting through junk and moving furniture *phew*... the one day we did have off, my niece and nephew came round and we went to the park and that was just as hot and exhausting!! But, who can complain when the sun is shining, however hot it is?!
